Audit Trail of CMS users changes

Description

An audit trail of changes made by CMS users possibly displayed as a Facebook like wall on the backend. You should be able to navigate to the audit trail system through the System menu.

User stories

  • As an administrator, I want to be able to restrict access to the audit trail system so that I can hide system complexity from limited-access users of the system

  • As an administrator, I want to be able to see a stream of admin user activity so that I can see who is doing what in the system

  • As an administrator, I want to be able to filter the stream by date range so that I can hone in on a particular piece of history

  • As an administrator, I want to be able to filter the stream by user so that I can see clearly what an individual is doing

  • As an administrator, I want to be able to filter by activity so that I can hone in on a specific action that I want to find out about

  • As an administrator, I want to be able to view a limited number of audit logs to start, and then load more, going back in time, so that my browser does not get overloaded with log information!

  • As a developer, I want to be able to provide custom viewlets for different actions, so that I can provide useful views for the log of any action

  • As a developer, I want to be able to provide translations for different actions, so that the experience can be full for speakers of different languages

  • As a developer, I want to be able to read documentation on how to create and render audit actions so that I can develop custom audit trail info

There is a timeline markup and style in the Ace admin that we can use: http://wrapbootstrap.com/preview/WB0B30DGR
