Uncaught DOMException when opening the developer console via hotkey in FF

Description

Fresh install of Preside 10.13.2+0008367.

When opening the devconsole in the admin a javascript error occurs:

Uncaught DOMException: The quota has been exceeded.

Happening in this file: _8b831bc1.devtools.min.js

Difficult to give a proper stack trace. The online understandable hint says:

preside.terminal.js:36

Only happens in FF. Chrome is fine.

Works also in Versions 10.11 and 10.12.

Environment

Confirmed Bug/Unexpected behaviour in FF 84. Should be fixed/changed soon with a new FF version according to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1599979

I tried clearing the localstorage as explained here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/storage

Now the dev console works again in FF

A friend told me about the following behaviour of Firefox: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1683299

This would explain the issue.
