Timeout occurs if changing download restrictions on some asset manager folders

Description

If there are a lot of assets in an asset manager folder and an admin changes the download restrictions (e.g. from "Inherited" to "Restricted" with a condition), then a time out occurs if there are a lot of assets in that folder. It takes longer than 50 seconds (which is the timeout I configured). I guess this is related to the permission syncing which checks every asset in that folder.
It might be good to evaluate if this can be improved in performance.

Yes, sounds like a good idea. The processing that is required is to potentially move the physical assets from public to private storages (and vice versa).

Not sure about improving the performance, as I guess there's quite a lot of processing that needs to be done. However, it might be something that can be fired off as an adhoc task in the background, so the user is not sitting waiting for it to complete...
